About Us

The Figueroa Family

We are Miguel, Jennifer, Angel and Avery and are from Fayetteville/Linden, NC.  This area has been home to us all our lives, yet we know that God is calling us elsewhere in this season of our life. We are very excited to see new places, meet new friends, and see how roadschooling is different than homeschooling.

Miguel's background is architecture and construction/development and until this last year it has been rewarding and fulfilling. We reached a plateau in March 2008 and for the first time in our married life, we didn't know what the next step was. Miguel is focused, driven and creative; a choleric at heart. Not knowing what we were supposed to be doing and where we were going was foreign to us. But, God is good and he had some ideas of his own. We just had to be really quiet to hear them . So, after many months, (14 in fact) we know now what our purpose on this planet is.

Our family is committed to sharing the true love of Jesus with anyone who will listen. After all, we are only paying forward what He did for us and our children. Simple. It's not too much to ask! We are very excited to share this journey with you and thank you for your encouragment and support.
